FIXED PROSTHETICS
Fixed prosthetics, as can be deduced from the name, is a part of prosthetics that deals with the making of works that can’t be removed from the mouth once the dentist fixes them. If there is a need for such procedure, a specialist will always recommend the making of fixed prosthesis, because they make the patients feel as if they had real teeth. Aesthetics, durability and self-confidence are some additional advantages of fixed work in comparison to prosthesis.
Fixed works, which include crowns and bridges, are made of ceramics which perfectly imitates the shades, transparency and lifelike quality of the color of your teeth. Functionally, it almost completely complies with the characteristics of enamel, in other words, it is firm but has some abrasive quality like a natural tooth.
Depending on the type of the basis for the making of fixed prosthetic works, we distinguish:
- a) Metal-ceramics
This is a standard solution that aesthetically and functionally complies with all your demands. Porcelain, i.e. ceramics, covers the metal skeleton like a coating and thus gives the work its firmness and longevity. A good choice of the ceramics color guarantees excellent aesthetic results. - b) Procera all ceram
You will certainly agree that natural diamond is a unique kind of material that possesses extraordinary firmness and beauty. In recent years, modern prosthetics has used a similar artificially produced material – zirconium (Al-oxide) as substitution for metal bases. The processed metal-free zirconium basis is white, so this component provides better chances to achieve aesthetically perfect results. These works are computer-designed and result in such close precision in making, fitting, adhesiveness to gingiva and in color that can’t be attained through any other method. Procera work is considered a perfection in modern prosthetics.

Ceramic crowns
If the significant loss of dental substance, due to a trauma, or highly advanced caries has occurred and it is impossible to make a filling, we suggest making a crown.

Ceramic bridges
If for some reason you have lost a tooth, or more teeth, ceramic bridges are the solution to your problem. They are placed on already prepared and filed down support teeth, or the implants.

Bridges can replace one missing tooth...
...or more teeth.
